Potential Big House traffic jam
The Ann Arbor City Council voted unanimously Monday night to send a strong message to the University of Michigan: Pay for city services on football Saturdays.
Now U-M has until Aug. 26 to strike a deal with the city to reimburse it for costs associated with providing traffic management services during Michigan football games and other special events at the Big House — in addition to the public safety services the city provides.

Well we got that cool Hawk thing out of the deal. You know for people who are too lazy to walk a couple of hundred feet to the Seventh Street light or over to the light on 1st Ave.
While we're at it lets keep Plymouth posted at 35 mph but add more crosswalks. It's like Frogger!

or we can add more traffic circles. This isn't fucking Europe. I hate having to play NASCAR as drive down Geddes towards Dixboro.

ND didnt want to pay South Bend for security for the eighth home game / S.B. wouldn't allow the game without being comped for it. So ND took the show on the road for neutral site games - also to do their 'national' recruiting.
Hope that isn't in the works here... but this coupled with next year's Jerry Dome game gives me some pause.
