So are all the postponed games getting rescheduled? I am happy we’re getting more basketball but not if everyone aren’t getting their games rescheduled. If they don’t that’s straight up bullshit.

I'm sure they're trying to reschedule them all. Fortunately, in contrast to the complete sh*tshow that was football scheduling, they used a bit of common sense in the basketball schedule and built in some byes for this purpose.

For people who have the same question I had, PSU is moving their game against Wisconsin (originally scheduled for the 27th) to the 30th to replace the game they were supposed to play with Nebraska, who's on covid break
Everyone got it? Good

A big 10 road game against a tough non-contender only presents an opportunity to hurt our resume and potential chance at the B1G title. I was hoping we might not have to play this game. But as RX said, more basketball is something to be grateful for, so let’s go and win it!

Have they announced what the tie breakers will be for the conference title? It may be an opportunity to get one more win that could break or make a tie.

But that was my point earlier. If we get upset but end up 15-5 in big ten play and Iowa only plays 19 games ends up 15-4 that would be the biggest pile of bullshit ever. I wouldn’t want to reschedule penn state. I hope every game that affects the big ten is rescheduled meaning sparty won’t be able to run away from the big games they tried to avoid

What if we end up 15-5 but Iowa ends up 14-5? Do we win the conference without a tie? If so, it seems that playing PSU could actually benefit us.
Or if Iowa ends up 15-5 but we end up 14-5 because we didn't play PSU? Do we lose out on the conference title because we lost a game? If so, let's play PSU if we have the chance.
That's my point, it may be advantageous to play more game (assuming you win of course).

Meh, I love watching this team. I want more opportunities to do that, not fewer. If we're the best team in the Big Ten, let's prove it. No asterisks.

I'm not against this, but things good get very "scrunched" where there are not a lot of days between games.
January 22nd, 2021 at 3:02 PM ^
I don't think it's that big of a deal. You normally play two games a week. It's not necessarily a good thing to have 5-6 days off before a game. That can throw you off your rhythm.

Theoretically this shouldn’t be a problem when the big ten tourney will be 5 games in 5 days. If it comes to that they can reschedule all the games missed in 1 week
January 22nd, 2021 at 4:48 PM ^
We wouldn’t be playing 5 games in the BTT. That’s for the teams that finished 11th through 14th.
The teams finishing 5th through 10th will have to play four games to win it.
The top four (which should include us) will have to play three.

Hakuna matata.
BBQ those Nittany Lions!

After what happened last time we went there I hope we win by 100. Getting Beilein ejected was ridiculous

A nice gift for my daughter's birthday would be a good old fashion butt whoopin' of the Nittany Lions. Plus, it would save me some cash.
