These are all guesses, supplemented by publlic information. Maybe we can revisit this thread when the class is all set and see if anyone nailed it. List future decommittments, if any, and who you expect we will land
Decommittments: Dequinta Jones. I think Pearlie will be a close call but we will retain him.
Added: Je'Ron Stokes, Adrian Witty, Denard Robinson, Travante Stallworth +1 snake-oil type that got little mention.
Notable Misses: Sam Montgomery, Marcus Hall, Mingo.

in one recruiting class but will add to that record. Also, lots of smurf slots and smaller RBs. 2 OLmen, need more. Need DTs (after decommits) and CBs. Good but not great class. Campbell and Turner are the stars. Lots of 3 star guys. O$U has a monster class. The best gets better. Nobody jumping at the chance to be DC.

What would you consider great? Since 2002, we've only had 2 classes that ranked higher than this one.....

We have 6 3 star guys. We have always had at least that many. By comparison, OSU has 7 3 stars and LSU has 5. Quit bitching about the 3 stars.

My sources indicate that we are likely to "ink a coordinator, likely on the defensive side" for the 2009 season. They also tell me that the coordinator "will be male and older than 20." Maybe THE KNOWLEDGE has more insight.

we will finish with a top ten recruiting class, somewhere around 7-9.
JT Turner, Will Campbell, and Tate are the headliners.
Marcus Hall, Sam Montgomery, Denard Rob, Jeron Stokes are still strong possibilities. I think we will land two or three of these 4star guys with Sam being the longshot.
Isiah Bell, Roh, Lewan, and Schofield are good recruits too.
We need to finish strong and hold on to either Pearlie or Dequinta for added depth on the DL. Another QB would be nice and i think we have a 50/50 shot at Denard. Can't wait til Feb. 4

I think we would find space for Stallworth becuase he is a good kid, but I don't think we need another slot, he could also play some QB which we do need. I think Hall goes to Ohio State and someone will talk Montgomery into staying South, but if we got 1 out of the 2 it would be huge!
