suspensions to 2 or 3 games? They'll wait until all the hoopla dies dfown about college football and then if the kids stay they will suspend themfor just 2 games, Big whoop.

The sad fact of the matter is right now tOSU is a bigger draw than anyone else in the B1G. No way the NCAA allows Pryor and company to miss 5 games. NCAA is all about the kwon. SHOW ME THE MONEY!

wasn't it reported that the sugar bowl reps appealed to the NCAA and OSU to keep the marquee malefactors in the game. i believe they said it was to "maintain the integrity of the game". translation - we haven't sold out this goddamn game, and if TP and boys aren't in it, no one is going to watch, and no one is buying the rest of these tickets.

"Maintain the integrity of the game". Honestly, where the fuck do people come up with this? I gave them sympathy at first, could honestly be an honest mistake to trade a tattoo for an autograph (how you wouldn't know the rules, I don't know, but I can see that happening), but after the "feel sorry for us, we have no money and we need tattoos!" I don't. Food stamps? 97% of college kids could get food stamps. Plus, they pocket a good amount of the money their given for books and supplies.

It was the Rose Bowl, so there were no students around. It'll be fun the next time around to come back to a town buzzing.

the NCAA....what a bunch of idiots. Auburn should enjoy their championship before they vacate it, along with the rest of the regular season wins. Mississippi State could have been great with Newton. They should have just paid for him instead of giving more dollars to their coach. (Nothing but Kudos for them actually...they were/are a good team.)

I like how Brent and Herbstreit gave a nice speech about how wise the Newtons were in not having Papa Newton come to the game. The wisdom there in that family...what a crock. This season has been less than inspiring. I read Tressel's book...real integrity there...letting the NCAA set such a low bar and calling it good.
At least DRob has the character bullet knocked out. I'm going to enjoy Newton and Fairley playing in the NFL - they can't leave college ball fast enough for me.
