POSBANG: Notre Dame goes down - AGAIN!
To hell with Notre Dame!
Upside: Another step forward in the path for UM reclaiming the overall win percentage. Also good for Big Ten in general. ND almost certainly out of playoff picture.
Downside: MSU looks like they might be a challenge. We'll see how they do against Wisconsin next week.
Also, Brian Kelly is still an ass.
Bang on!
EDIT: It looks like if UM finishes with 1 more win than ND this season (same # of games assumed), we reclaim the record.

To hell with both Notre Dame and Sparty!
Sparty looked pretty bad in week 1, but it had to help them to play one game, then have a bye before heading to South Bend. And watching last night, I had to wonder why ANY QB would want to play for Brian Kelley. Every time he doesn't like the play, you can see him animated with the QB on the sideline. I get that you'd always prefer your QB to throw the ball away and avoid taking a sack, but QBs are taught to watch the play, not the rush, and when the backside protection breaks down, that's not the QB's fault.
Look how Kelly handles his QBs coming to the sideline and how Harbaugh handled Speight when things looked awful yesterday, or with Rudock last September when his timings with receivers was still pretty bad.
Big difference.

I hate them both. I wish they both could have lost the game. I didn't even watch the game because the thought of either Sparty or ND winning was just too unappealing.
