Players appreciation and Sunday night drinking thread
Through the last two weeks, there's been a ton of talk about coaches, assistants, lawyers, investigators, etc.
But ultimately the game is played on the field, and more than anything, it kills me that these allegations are undermining the incredible players and efforts that no one should question.
- We didn't need a sign for Hassan Haskins to run rampant over OSU in the Big House. And then for the Don to do the same thing in the Shoe.
- Blake Corum didn't need any intel to run wild against Maryland, Nebraska, Penn State, MSU, and nearly everyone else.
- Hutchinson told OSU what he was going to do, and then put their O lineman on their asses.
- And there's many many many other examples over the past few years we can cite.
So thank you to the actual people who determine the outcome. We appreciate everything you're doing, and go out and crush everyone else on the schedule to leave no doubt.
P.S. I'm going to use this as an occassion to pour myself an old fashioned. What are you drinking?

And I will add Mike Sainristil to the player appreciation list. One of my favorite UM players of all time, from his PBU against OSU to his 4th quarter speech in last year's game to forcing NBC to not cut away while giving McBurrows his due. Remember when there was scepticism about him switching from offense to defense? Yeah no worries after all!

I agree. The public response to this saga has made me more upset for the players than anything. They have put in the hard work only to be undermined by those in rival fanbases and those who want clicks.
The fact of the matter is that in the court of public opinion (mostly because of the rise of social media) it is guilty until proven innocent, which I hate. All of these pundits and experts putting an asterisk by Michigan’s name when releasing rankings. As if they needed to steal “signs” to beat rutgers and msu. Pretty sickening.

shofferhofer pineapple. Nice one for future early games. First time purchase at meijers and I like it. their sampler has a few interessante variations so that looks worthwhile too.
