Peppers says not leaving without his degree.

I don't know how to embed the tweet, but I just saw him answer someone on Twitter that he is not leaving for NFL without degree. I know a lot can change and he hasn't had his chance to show what he can do yet, but I still thought it was cool to see and says a lot about what type of head is on his shoulders. Go Blue!

Statements like this are definitely good to hear, especially from athletes that you're pretty sure will garner interest from the league before their academic journey would be complete. Peppers always has seemed like someone who really places great importance on the academic opportunities he has at - in this case and fortunately for us - Michigan, and indeed, that degree can only make his future brighter.

He seems to have a good head on his shoulders and receive great guidance from his support network (he could have went anywhere and picked Michigan right?). But more than that it appears he knows that nothing is given or guaranteed in life. So despite his otherworldly talent he shows the initiative to work hard, while understanding it could all be taken away and developing his non-athletic skills and receiving a degree is a smart move.

Considering the complete hype and insanely sky high expectations imposed on this dude that he knows he must live up to, he is incredibly gracious and humble, with his head screwed on right.

Contrast him with the entitlement mentality of most of these Nike Opening type of coddled guys.  Or the "I didn't come to play SKOOL" attitudes of some well known rival players.

Could not have asked for a better representative for this program.  Barring further major injury, he has the physical tools AND the brain to leave Michigan as an all-time great.

I know I'm late to the party, but I have this vision in my head.....

It's 4th and 1 from Michigan's 1 yard line. 2 seconds left in the 4th quarter. Michigan up 41-35 over OSU. Miller/Barrett/Jones hands the ball off to Elliott with a chance to tie/take the lead. OSU players and fans are beginning to revel in the idea that another game is in the bag for them.

Then out of nowhere, Peppers jumps out from the backfield and fucking stonewalls Elliot, and he never even gets close to the goal line. Game over. Michigan wins. Elliot is hit so hard he needs an extra few minutes to get up off the field. All feels right with the world as OSU fans look bewildered and confused. The spoiled rotten fanbase knows not what this losing feeling feels like. But they fear they'll need to get used to it as long as Jim Harbaugh roams the Michigan sideline.
