Patrick Omameh signed to Buccaneers' Active Roster
Tampa Bay stole Patrick away from the 49ers' practice squad, signing him to their active roster, citing "a potential need for depth on the offensive line." [LINK] Rather than take one of the two tackles already on their own practice squad they searched farther afield for a guard.
He looks happy.
Less happy note about the "potential need": Three Bucs have been diagnosed with MRSA, one of whom is a guard. The first two cases are supposedly not related to one another (different strains of MRSA) and experts have been called in to ensure a safe environment and educate the players (per CBS News article: LINK).
