OT: You wanted maize ice, I give you maize ice!
OK, so we didn't really want it, and it's not really maize, but here's a look at what they do to the Kalamazoo Wings over here on the West side. It's bad enough they play on that sheet, but look at what they make those poor bastards wear for uniforms. Thank you Jeebus for keeping our field green and our ice, um, ice color.
It is for a good cause FWIW.
On Golden Pond This Saturday the K-Wings will host the Cincinnati Cyclones during the 2nd Annual McDonald’s Golden Ice Game, presented by McDonalds and WNWN. Following the game, the K-Wings will auction off their yellow ice jersey with proceeds benefiting the Ronald McDonald House of West Michigan.

It looks like somebody brought a bunch of elephants to pee in the rink.

When I was a kid, my dad's company would get tickets to the K-Wings game when they would do the green ice games or the pink ice games and it was always a pretty neat experience... Those jersey's are hideous though

That yellow ice REALLY makes me want to adjust the white balance on that photo. That would screw up the white objects in the photo, but...man, that yellow looks bad.
Michigan should turn Yost's ice blue and use a yellow puck. No, not really, but I had to say it.

Is #6's last name "Prick"?
That would actually be a pretty good hockey name depending on his style of play

"Prick is going into the box for two minutes . . . or less."
