OT: What Would You Trade/Give Up to Bring a College Football Video Game Back

So I bought Madden 20 to get at least some of my video game football scratch itched. While I like the game ok enough, the only thing I can think while playing it is that I would be having a lot more fun if it  was an NCAA football game. So it got me thinking what would I give up if it meant bringing it back, and honestly I would give up my left nut.

I’d give up those dumb new madden features and have them bring back Michigan greats 1997 team in EA 2021.

We will have it back in the next 5 years. Ban me on 9/20/2024 if it's not back. 

CA bill and now NY looking to do the same thing is gonna force the NCAA to allow players to profit off their likeness. Which will open the door for the return of the video game. 

And this time, it won't need custom made rosters. It'll have rosters with photos just like Madden and will have updates like Madden does.

The end of the tunnel is in sight. An when it comes, I'll beat any challenger on here in an online game.

I used to enjoy WoW (up to wrath of the lich king), Diablo II, and some of the 1st person shooters (CoD, Battlefield etc.).  Also loved NHL and NCAA football back in the late 90s - mid 00s.

 

Wanted to sign up for the new WoW Classic but I just don't have the free time that playing video games requires.

 

That being said, I'll trade PSUs, Baylors and MSUs rapey athletic departments for them.

I still play ncaa 14 with updated rosters and I try to edit the schedules to get it as close as I can to the actual up to date season. I would give anything for a new ncaa football game. Sigh

I still play NCAA 14. Bought an Xbox 360 specifically for that purpose. #bringbackncaafootball

In other words, if one comes out I'll watch everyone freak out and then about a year later I'll buy a copy for my kid so he can be Michigan and I'll be the beavers or Army or some other dumb team.

This is my OT answer:

 When I was in Honduras on a medical mission trip, I saw a local Honduran man who spoke no English wearing a big green John Deere shirt that stated, “I would trade my wife for a tractor.”  He was initially mortified, but then could not stop laughing when he was told what his shirt said.
