OT: UM grad's Horatio Alger-like climb to a Grammy nom.
This guy is a relatively recent grad. Comes from the tiny lakeside summer tourist town of Northport in the Leelanau Peninsula. Gotta like his moxie!

kudos to the kid for making it in a cut throat industry...
it would be awesome if someone from the football department contacted him to make a hype video for next year!
Getting a Grammy nominated video producer from the University of Michigan to help out would be a tremendous PR move imo

I like your avatar. If I ever find myself fighting with and against cartoons, I want this guy on my side.

A former teammate of mine has produced for the athletic department before, and the videos were fantastic. He does one every year for the lacrosse team.

One of my brother's best friends growing up. Really good guy (sister is an alum as well) and deserves all the success

Cool story, and good for him. Also, the Dead Weather rock (as do all Jack White projects)

The Freedom video made a real impression on me even before I knew who was behind it.

Love that town! Being from Traverse City, I spent a lot of time kicking around those towns all along the Leelanau Peninsula. Even went to school in suttons Bay for 6 years. Good to see the hometown kid and fellow alum do well. Go Blue!
