OT: Tigers beat KC 3-2... yay?
I'm as forlorned as the lot of you, and I know it does little to help*, but the Tigers won today, extending their lead in the AL Central over KC. Actually looked like a great game with a controversial call going in the Tigers favor.
*it helps even less if you are from KC. I've got nothing for you but sympathy.

Why are the mods taking down relevant threads against the current AD? Has David Brandon called the mods already to shut down the discussion of his imminent firing?

... this is supposed to be a positive thread. Take the negativity into one of the other 8 threads.

YEAH!!! This was the priority of my day in all honesty, and I'm really pumped about this team heading into the postseason, except for the closer position.

Hernan Perez for president! He was the one that pointed out that Salvador Perez had missed tagging up.
The closer position is still troublesome but man does Nathan only give up bloops and weakly hit balls? Joba on the other hand has been dreadful in the 2nd half of the season and probably needs to move out of the 8th inning role. If the bullpen can just become average this team can win a World Series.

For the life of me I'll never figure out why that type play is not reviewable. The ump missed it, like he might miss one at first. In the meantime WTF Kinsler, you had a couple boneheaded plays today.
