OT: Some NCAA 12 Team Ratings
While perusing the internet about NCAA 12 news, I have been able to come across certain team ratings in videos. Some schools I only saw part of. These are listed in no particular order. I can not guarentee these ratings are 100% correct as I have seen some schools change(d) within the video . that of Illinois who went from a 77 ovr to 81. So if a team appears more than once, I have included the 2nd rating in ()including The biggest question marks IMO are Michigan's and Iowa's offense, Texas, and Penn State
Ones that I was able to find so far http://www.ea.com/ncaa-football/videos/dynasty-enhancements

The plays they will have set up for us, because they don't have a frickin' clue what we're going to run.
They should include a play designer option, i'd love to spend my afternoons designing gimmicky stuff, at least they should let you assemble a playbook play by play
the create a play feature, we could have denard runs going all directions
and you can start as a coordinator in dynasty
You can start out as an OC or DC or even a head coach. If you start out as a coach you will have to start at a low tier team and work your way up. I love the concept. I cant wait to be an OC and work my way up the ranks and become head coach at UM. lol.
Also, you can create a playbook, but you cant create your own plays. I wish you could, but Im happy with the create a playbook feature. I cant wait for this game to come out.
Design and customize your playbook. My guess is that our playbook will be a slightly more spread happy version of San Diego st's from last year. Just a guess.
But that's assuming EA will get something right!
SDSU's actually had a good amount of spread elements in it but only a couple QB runs. They know who our QB is, so I've gotta believe they'll change this.
I think they will just put in a MANBAWWLLLLLL playbook.
Back in the early 90s I had a football PC game that allowed you to design plays and I spent hours doing that. My best was out of the punt formation that gave me a run/pass option. I could run that for a TD every time. I really agree that the newer games should incorporate that feature.
We used to play the same thing. Had like a flea flicker trick play that worked against just about any defense. Sometimes the simple games were better.
Man Ball + Spread = Man Spread/Ball Spread. Either way, we're cookin' right?
Sounds too appealing.
Man Ball + Spread & Shred gives you more options Man Shred/Ball Spread/ Man Spread/Ball Shred, ^^
Just spread and ball?
Since to OVR is roughly the average of the others, I guess our defense would be 83-85 range.
Someone is optimistic about Mattis and improvement. I thought it would be somewhere around 14.
You were the optimist.
The game never cares about records from last year, they never do. Hence, Penn St and Texas. They basically just roll over their player ratings from last year and increase them a bit, so since they had those teams highly rated last year they will be good last year despite on the field indications they aren't as good as EA thought they were.
It's the same for us, you know.
Will NCAA 12 have the new scoreboards?
I remember some of the designers having a live video stream on ustream and a viewer sent in that question. They can guarentee that we will have the lights, but are not 100% about the scoreboards.
Here are their top 25 rankings:
1. Oklahoma
2. Alabama
3. Stanford
4. LSU
5. Oregon
6. Ohio St.
7. Oklahoma St.
8. Boise St.
9. Texas A&M
10. Florida St.
11. ? (has to be wisky right?)
12. Auburn
13. South Carolina
14. TCU
15. Michigan St.
16. Nebraska
17. Virginia Tech
18. Arkansas
19. Mississippi St.
20. Florida
21. Notre Dame
22. Texas
23. Missouri
24. NC State
25. Arizona St.
I do not get some of these ratings. UT has the same offensive rating as TAMU? Bullshit. UT's D is not that good either. Miami (ytm) O is not that good. They have no QB. And PSU lol. At best they'll be #4 in the B10, probably 5 or 6.
You're forgetting that most of Miami's players come from Florida. If that isn't telling than Rivals has taught you nothing.
/s
They overrate popular teams like us, ND, PSU and Texas because bigger fanbases won't want to buy the game if their team is accurately bad.
I've noticed that Miami and FSU are overrated as hell every year. Some of the developers must have gone to one of those schools or something.
Harbaugh leaving is going to hurt Stanford much more than people think, regardless if Luck is there.
Keep in mind these might not be the final ratings...yet again, they might be. I'm hoping our offense is deff higher.
??? for our defense means it's over 100, right?
/Shining-Force'd
Um shouldnt our O be a 99 since we have Denard? If they rate him properly, he will be the most unstoppable video game player since Vick in Madden 04.
Probably a good place to ask this question. I haven't bought a Football game in years, anybody out there feel this should be the one? Or just rent it and play through a season or two?
Miami (YTM) with a 95 for offense? Really? That's fairly high for a team losing their top WR and top RB. Guess I just don't drink that much Harris/Morris Kool-Aid.
No matter the reality, the offense and defense always seem to be pretty on par. Going into this season, it would make sense for us to look something like:
Offense: 93
Defense: 77
