OT: Sanchez looking really good
Maybe the Lions got the wrong rookie QB... Mark Sanchez looks really good. His OL gave him good time, but damn he looks very comfortable and posed back there and is throwing frozen ropes:

I am less than enthusiastic about Stafford's career. Hes only done one thing to wow me, and that was against a second team defense in week 1. I dont care if he has an arm, his decision making is horrible and his accuracy comes and goes. I'm hoping he learns from his mistakes. But it looks like hes a slow learner.

The guy has seen a few limited snaps in a few preseason games, and you have already made up your mind about his decision making and speed of learning? Wow.

I knew he was gonna suck even before he too a few limited snaps in a few preseason games...he plays for the lions. And when a player is on the lions you can criticize him for whatever you want, because there is a strong chance you won't be wrong.

fine. He made 2 bad throws but other than that, he made a ton of NFL type throws. I don't know what game that you've been watching but Stafford made a great throw to Derrick Williams for a TD in week 1. A rope to Colbert on the sideline in week 1. In week 2, he made a rope to the middle to Standeford. In week 3, he made 4 good throws. Last night, he threw 2 great throws to CJ including a drop to his hands over the double coverage. Too bad that it was called off because Loper got caught holding.
Stafford looked more impressive than Sanchez.

I am not going to go as far as to say Stafford has looked better than Sanchez but it is very clear that Sanchez has a MUCH better surrounding cast. Other than Mega Tron, I don't think there is another Lions starter I wouldn't replace with the guy that starts for the Jets at the same position. And oh yeah, Keary Colbert sucks!

struggled against State last year. I think that says enough about his skills.

And if the Jets are able to work out a trade for Brandon Marshall. Wow. They are real close to having a really good team. Their defense was tough at the beginning of the season last year.

Sweet. For some reason I drafted him as my 2nd QB, maybe Im on to something?
