OT: NBA Draft Lottery Draw

Submitted by Westside Wolverine on June 22nd, 2021 at 7:31 PM

So, the Pistons can land a pick anywhere from 1st to 6th when the lottery is drawn tonight at 8:30p. Most draft experts think that the top five prospects have separated themselves from the rest of the potential draftees. What are the odds that the Pistons land the the 6th pick and miss out on the top tier prospects? 20% (we all know that it is really 100% though). I still am holding out hope that the Pistons can reverse the recent Detroit lottery bad luck and land the #1 pick.

Reading this thread at 9:17 was pretty fun.

Had no idea the NBA draft was tonight.  I only watch the NBA when the Pistons are good and usually only the playoffs, which means I basically watched Bad Boys I and Bad Boys II and that's it. Super psyched that I might get to watch the NBA with interest sometime in the next couple of years.

Edit:  Holy cow!  A 6'8" point guard?  Is that a thing?

Edit 2:  I guess it is these days.  But still fairly rare.

Did anyone notice that the Pistons got the first pick in the NBA draft? Others may not have heard the news. Anyway, I believe that might help the fortunes of the organization.
