OT - Motorhead Monday
Been meaning to do this for a while since we've entered the offseason. While there will be plenty of HARBAUGH!, recruting info (RIP Ace's fingers) and spring game chatter for a while yet, we're now waiting on the Utah game before any of the big 3 sports are playing again. As such, I know we've got quite a few car nerds on the site and I figured a car chat on mondays would be a good way to kick off the week. So in my best Linda Richmond voice I'll give ya a topic -
What's the car that you'd most want to own that you've seen in person? Why?
I've got a couple more questions in mind for future weeks - if you have good ones go ahead and ask em, or tweet me and I'll try to make them a future thread.
Your not alone. I honestly do not get the hate for it.
aztec? i mean i get not wanting some super-duper car (i drive old salvage vehicles), but an aztec is pretty out there. as one of your virtual friends, i suggest you see a virtual automobile therapist.
as for me, i don't think i could ever spend big $ on a car b/c i'd think i could utilize the $ better on something else. maybe if i was a gazillionaire i would, but until then look for the old guy in a beat up diesel truck with somewhere above 200K miles on it...
I will be lucky enough to inherit one of these two cars, I hope. Both were restored by my father and the 1957 Black Widow was actually featured in Super Chevy Magazine. http://www.superchevy.com/features/0602sc-1957-chevy-bel-air/
This is a stock photo of the 1955 Chevy Bel Air Convertible that looks just like his.
The convertible is a cruiser but the Black Widow is a fucking race car. GM 572 crate motor. 620 hp. So much fun.
I could go for something like this -
I'm old enough to remember that commercial. As cringe-worthy cheesy as it seems now, it was totally bad ass to a kid. A full minute, no less.
was The Judge and Wooderson's Chevelle SS.
Alrightalrightalright. Party at the moon tower.
International Blue 1968 Corvette Stingray:
The stuff of dreams.
Classis american muscle. 1964 Impala SS(Super Sport).
Long live Bo - the 55 and 57 Chevys are fine. I like the 55 best because of the ragtop and it looks more stock than the 57.
I also love the 67 Grand Prix since I'm into full sized cars tonight.
I'm pretty disappointed that this thread wasn't about the band Motorhead...

I hope to own one of these someday. '69 Camaro.
Style of old school, yet performance upgrades in power and handling. That thing is sex on wheels.
I can appreciate the stock look but I want a car with classic looks that handles and performs like a new car.
I'd like to have a BMW M5.
