OT: Michigan/Disney Merch Question

Random question: My kid can't get enough Mickey Mouse and I was wondering if anyone knows where to get any shirts with Mickey Mouse wearing Maize and Blue? There's a great pennant at MDen with Football Mickey Mouse wearing Maize and Blue with the Winged helmet but no shirts. The only ones I see online look unauthorized and sketchy at best. Anyone have any links or know where to find any good Disney/Michigan gear?

Honestly, your best bet for Disney gear these days are the third-party vendors if you want anything interesting like that. The market is pretty robust, and there's a lot of choices. If the usual Michigan suspects don't have it, and Disney doesn't, that's your only bet.

Disney came out w/ a university collection 8-9 years ago.  I have a Mickey Mouse Go Blue shirt (officially licensed).  Don't know if they still have the collection or not, but maybe try www.shopdisney.com Good luck.

I just looked fairly extensively for Christmas. I was unsuccessful. I was actually looking for a changing sequin shirt. My buddy got his daughter a Notre Dame one but Michigan ones do not exist as far as I know. I then looked for Disney and other character stuff. I wanted officially licensed stuff.

We are going on a Disney cruise later this month and I’ve also been looking for a UM Mickey shirt. It looks like they were once sold but now it’s all bootleg stuff. Disney used to have their own team store but it got shut down.

I dont think you can find any officially licensed Disney and Michigan gear. We have gone to WDW twice with our boys and have bought different themed Mickey shirts from Etsy each time. The shirts have been anywhere from good to okay. Our boys never minded; just depends on what your expectations are.

When ordering new checks recently, I switched from my traditional University of Michigan ones to Disney ones. They feature Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, and Donald in rotation. They're pretty sweet.

On a related note, I really love Disney. Took a vacation to DW last October, and it was the  best $10K I ever spent. Worth every penny.

If there's one thing old Walt knew, it was customer service. The staff was amazing.

if your kids are into the Disney trading pins there is a Mickey - Michigan pin with Mickey in a winged helmet and a football. The bigger shops at WDW will have them.
