OT: MGoBlog Flag Football Game
As football season approaches, I am getting an itch to brush off the the cleats and throw the old pig skin around and attempt to relive my Michigan (err..IM) football playing days. I live in the Royal Oak area, and was wondering if there would be any interest in getting a pickup game of two hand touch football going in the evening or possibly the weekend of the 28th-29th. If anyone has suggestions on where a good place to play would be I am open, but right now am thinking Whittier Park.

I'd definitely be up for that. I've got a friend who I think would be interested to. I must admit, I'm in worse shape than Justin Turner so I'm not sure how good I'll be.

no one who would be playing would be wing wearing shape. Playing shape is not a requirement, and for my sake is somewhat discouraged.

I just realized that I'm busy until Sunday night. I could do Sunday night or pretty much any night during the week.

There are 2 open "public" fields in Southgate and Wyandotte that I see people at. I'm reasonably sure that they both have field goal posts too. They are true football fields and not just open flat fields. Either way, if I don't have to work/take my fiancee to a doc's appointment then I am there for sure.

There can be one in Ann Arbor, and one in Royal Oak/ Suburbs, and then later on we can all meet up in the MNC of MGoBlog Flag Football.

I would love to have a flag football game, but unfortunately those dates don't work for me.
