OT: Mario Manningham to start
The NY Giant's Steve Smith partly tore his pectoral muscle, and Michigan's own Mario Manningham will replace him and be the starting slot receiver for the time being.
I imagine Hakeem Nicks will get even more double teams than normal, and as a result Manningham should be able to tear it up. Crush the Cowboys, Mario!

I just picked him up in my league. Goodbye Beanie Wells, hello Mario Manningham.
It's the right decision in so many ways!

He was a free agent in your league? I drafted him in the 13th round and he's been clutch for me all season as a flex player.

Yardage and scoring leage, I get three WR and a flex:
My WR are: Manningham, Harvin, Reggie Wayne and Jeremy Maclin.
I have Hillis and Chris Johnson starting at RB; Knowshon Moreno and Ryan Torain on the bench.
Do I sit one of my WR in place of Manningham, or do I flex him in place of the Moreno or Torain?

Oddly enough I have Harvin and Manningham on my team also haha. Percy is questionable (has been the entire season), and I also have Nate Washington starting hoping that Moss is taking attention away from him and he can tear it up against Miami's secondary. But I'm not sure if maybe i should start crabtree or bess instead of washington because of how inconsistent he has been.
EDIT: And I also have torain, but I feel more comfortable starting Bradshaw and McCoy over him.

Is harvin going to be out with recurring head injuries? he's only questionable vs the bears this weekend.
November 12th, 2010 at 5:21 PM ^
I hope not, he has been my most consistent receiver as of late.

I would put manningham in as the flex but that's just me
November 12th, 2010 at 5:29 PM ^
Pardon my ignorance but this is my first time playing fantasy football, but what the heck does flex mean? Just a filler player for a week?
November 12th, 2010 at 5:33 PM ^
Pretty much. Multipurpose player to get some points.
November 12th, 2010 at 5:46 PM ^
if harvin plays he is gonna destroy that bears secondary
with manningham, the boys will double Nicks
I think manningham could have a huge day
steve smith did when the boys did last time, so i'd go with manningham
i like maclin alot, but you also got desean jackson also

Ouch! Come on Chad, get it together!

That was terrible news for me. I drafted him in the last round to be the bye week replacement for Aaron Rodgers. Of course the ONLY week of the season I need Henne, he gets benched.

I love Manningham

I just picked up Mario. I had Smith slated to start this week. I'll take a Michigan man over USC folk anytime...

denver throws the ball 700 times a game. Plus Morenos been banged up.

1.) McDaniels said he wants to make Moreno a focus of the offense now that he's healthy.
2.) Moreno catches a lot of passes out of the backfield.
Of course, I have him and don't trust the situation enough to start him.

the injury, i just heard, is possibly season ending. would help mario's value for the rest of the season

Do I start Breston this week, or should I pick up Manningham and start him?

My opinion but the cards qb situation blows and manningham is a 2 in an offense with a lot of opportunities to make plays for their skill positions as opposed to Arizona.

Not only that people have been torching the Cowboys secondary the last month, including the Giants
