OT: Lions Player Missing in Gulf Coast
The Lions player on board is rumored to be DE Corey Smith.
so the lions off season is no different from the regular season then?
Dude might be dead and you're making jokes about the Lions.
Stay classy.
I'll stay classy.
if you don't laugh you cry.
Does this remind anyone else of the Bison Dele situation? Maybe a little less bizarre. Anyway hope they find the guys ok.
When I said I wanted the Lions to get rid of the 2008 team as fast as possible, this isn't quite what I meant.
Like to hope for a happy ending, but, a 21-foot boat in 14-foot seas? Have any of you ever seen what happens to a 4,000 ton, 453-foot boat in that kind of seas, if they're actually allowed to sail into them, which they're not? Coke machines literally dislodge themselves and attempt to relocate on the opposite side of the room. It's not pretty. RIP, fellas.
I'll stop short of the Dele comparisons though, since that was a sordid story of murder at sea. Guy was thrown overboard by his brother. Way messed up.
I don't like where that story is heading. Hope they find them safe.
It's eerily reminiscent of the Chuck Muer disappearance from way back when:

I hope I'm wrong, but I'm expecting the worst here.
Looks like they found the boat - and one of the boaters, which is neither of the NFLers:

Great news for one guy. Much worse outlook for the other three, I think, if there was only one guy with the boat.
Yikes, yeah it's not looking good for the other 3. Unless they grabbed some life preservers before the boat flipped, they're probably goners.
