OT: KenPom Diversifies Their Sports Coverage
Maybe I've not spotted this before, so apologies if this is delayed sleuthing.
If you head to https://kenpom.com, click on the strange little rock-with-a-handle contraption in the upper left hand corner.
I wonder what that's aboot, eh?

Kind of odd, but the site has the same look as kenom.com. Maybe Pomeroy is really into curling too?

It's listed under his LLC, so it's definitely his.
EDIT: and then I found this - huh, he sure is into curling! https://thebarkingcrow.com/ken-pomeroys-got-a-curling-site/

I think I had heard that he was starting a curling blog over the summer, but hadn't checked it out until now. I'm catching up on the blog posts now, so thanks for pointing it out! Since the 2010 Olympics I've been getting more and more into curling, the Canadian championships in particular. ESPN streams the TSN broadcast and it's like watching golf in the winter - perfect for listening in the background and checking in when you can hear the excitement heighten at the end of a big end. I've gotten familiar with the big teams on both the mens and womens sides. Another virtue of curling is that the women's game as entertaining as the men - their power shots might not be quite as powerful, but a tight combo takeout is exciting in both. I can't wait for the Scotties and Brier this winter. And, reading Pomeroy's analysis.
