OT - John Harbaugh Statue added to Miami of Ohio Cradle of Coaches

Submitted by BlueCube on

Congratulations on the honor. I thought it was a nice tribute to Bo. Link

Harbaugh's is the ninth statue on the plaza, joining the likenesses of Earl ''Red'' Blaik, Paul Brown, Carm Cozza, Paul Dietzel, Weeb Ewbank, Ara Parseghian, John Pont and Bo Schembechler.

The 1984 Redhawks' graduate chose Schembechler's mantra of ''the team, the team, the team'' as part of the inscription below his statue. Harbaugh's father, Jack, was an assistant to Schembechler at Michigan.

I would think puts him around 50 years old. Now guys PLEASE please don't take this the wrong way. Lets say coach Hoke can't get it done and falls into an 9-4 7-5 in the years of '15 '16 '17 this is totally hypothetical. Would anyone be interested in getting John Harbaugh to coach the Michigan squad? Knowing he has already won the top prize in pro football, the only thing to accomplish on a pro level is repeating. As honorable an achievment as that would be to win multiple times at the highest level. Maybe he would instead consider taking over for Hoke providing Hoke was at the above summit of his ability. I want to emphatically say that I am not asking for coach Hokes head and believe that he will get over the hump. Stranger things have happened in this world though and nothing and I do mean nothing suprises me any more. Go Blue!!!
