O/T Idiot Canned!
Various reports are coming out that local idiot Rob Parker has once again worn out his welcome and has been canned by the local paper he was currently working for...now if we can just get Drew Sharp blown out all will be right with the universe...

needed to go. His behavior has been less than professional and he's a smug, pompous dude. And where in the hell did he get that funny voice? It's like he's been sucking bad helium or something.
The Detroit newspapers are losing money and cutting back on home delivery but they each have four reporters or columnists writing about the Lions.
Does not make sense to me.

Here's a link from Crain's for those of you who want to believe but are afraid it is just message board blabber:

It did seem that the News after the Packers game seemed blessedly Parker-less. I never liked his writing, ever, but lost all shreds of respect for the guy after his "Hank Aaron's a coward" column.

Maybe he'll go back to ESPN and bicker with Skip Bayless on that useless show.

While searching for more info on Parker's resignation/firing, I came across this article (http://www.mije.org/richardprince/columnist-rob-parker-out-detroit-news) and the following sentence within:
--While at Newsday in 1995, Parker was suspended for a day by WDFN-AM after he jokingly said on a talk show discussion of cats that "everyone needs a little pussy."--
I laughed out loud.

his wife wishes she had married a better sports reporter.

A+ burn.
Although I don't think he's married. He may or may not be divorced. All I know is a few years ago I used to listen to his radio show "Parker and the Man" and he always talked about going on vacations by himself. Who goes on vacations by themselves? An a-hole, that's who.

Parker and the Man, that was a quality show.

I take vacations by myself.

Well, this might be a moment of clarity for you.

You made me chuckle, thanks for the laugh.
January 7th, 2009 at 10:55 AM ^
Not necessary, I already knew I have no family.
January 7th, 2009 at 11:06 AM ^
No, I mean you might be an a-hole and not know it.
January 7th, 2009 at 11:42 AM ^
I know I am. Not for the reason you gave, though.

Oh, ok. Then you have reach self-actualization sir. I commend you.
