Best of luck to you and everyone who works in the hospitality industry. Looks like a vaccine is coming but not soon enough to prevent a very long tough winter for restaurants and bars and all the people who depend on them for their livelihoods. At least some places have been able to adapt to outdoor dining, and that it's still allowed, unlike places like L.A. where it is 70 degrees outside, lots of outdoor restaurants, and they are all shut down. That is just fucking ridiculous.

Surprised anyone is still eating outdoors this time of year - even with heaters.

Live in Toledo, where in door dining is still allowed at reduced capacity, yet so strange to see places close by across the border (some literally in walking distance) shut down.

Hoping for the best, my friend. The hospitality industry, in particular restaurant workers and owners, got dealt a shit hand this year. Just literally nothing going anyone's way.

Hope you all can hold on long enough for the vaccine to get distributed. I want to see those fish bowls being slung out to the masses.

Charlie's used to have a sandwich called the Chicken St. Croix that once gave me incredible diarrhea that struck me on the walk home half a mile from my apartment.  I barely made it and the result was similar to Jeff Daniels in Dumb and Dumber, except my toilet flushed.

Never ordered that again.

We were at Good Time Charley's for long island ice tea special night playing pool like we had several tuesdays before, in January 1998. Charles Woodson and a few buddies were there as well, got to shake his hand and congratulate him on his season.

Damn, we were all so lucky to be there for that season as well as two hockey national championships. Those were the days....
