The Mule put up 5 goals tonight against the Senators, the Red Wings are about to win 7-5.

he had it going tonight...looked like he did in some of those crazy playoff performances he has done.

good thing too, considering the collective defensive effort by the Red Wings tonight was pathetic at best.

How can I avoid downvotes?

Don't be redundant. Don't use stupid nicknames like O$U. Spell things correctly. Don't post useless replies like "I agree" and whatnot.

What happens when I get huge numbers of negative points?

I get dinged and I check your profile out to see if you're pure troll or not, and ban appropriately.

Stellar work by 'The Mule'! I remember last May against the Sharks in the playoffs, he nearly had 5 goals before one of his goals was credited to a teammate. Nice performance tonight, nonetheless!

What a game.  First time a Wing has scored 5 goals since 1996.  Thankfully him and Zetterberg have stepped up their game to keep the wings near the top of the Western Conference with half the team out with injuries.  I am a little concerned about the defense though.  Giving up 5 goals to a suspect Senators team scares me.

That was an excellent game from Franzen. He is a pure goal scorer. My only problem with him this year is that it seems he disappears in some games and is not a huge factor (counter examples are Datsyuk and Zetterberg, both never disappear). Obviously, tonight he shut me up about that.

Did the long camera angles look like they were from outer space?

San Jose is like that, too.  The cameras are in the rafters or something.  I don't get it with a Canadian team.  You can hardly see the puck when it's down low.

The main camera in The Joe is like 16 rows up.

Very exciting game to watch and amazing day for Franzen. Although, the team defense has taken a real step back this year. Howard needs to work on his rebound control as well. How can I complain though, we are #1 in our division.
