OT: Euro 2012: Group C, game 3: Spain v. Croatia, Italy v. Ireland

Looking to see if Spain starts Torres up front by himself.

Looking to see if Croatia can attack the soft underbelly of the Spanish defense (if they can get the ball away from the Spanish midfield).

Italy will probably sweep the Irish off the pitch.

Winner/runner up of this group probably looking at playing France & England; daunting tasks, especially with England getting Rooney back.

I thought that looked like a penalty.  That was the second time in the game (with the other one being in the first half on a tackle just inside the box) where Croatia possibly could have gotten a penalty.  I guess I can see why the referee wouldn't want to make what could have been a game-deciding call at that juncture, but I'd be a little upset if I were a Croatia fan.

Yeah, that was an arm drag and a shirt pull. It's too bad that kind of stuff is never called as it gives the defenders a huge advantage, particularly with the way obstructing the goal keeper is refereed. Croatia can't say that they didn't have their chances, though.
