OT: ESPN World Cup Predictor Pool

Submitted by Snidely Doo Rash on

'eds up,

I just discovered ESPN's world cup bracket pool and it is tres cool.  You can enter picks (and set up a user account if you don't have one) in about 5-10 minutes unless you need to do meticulous research to pace the field and collect the copious cash payout of $5000.

Here is the link to the frontpage  (sorry if this has been posted here before).

What becomes clear as you complete this entry is that The Dutch v. Italy  and Brazil v. Spain are potential matchups starting the knockout round in the same quarter of the bracket. This is like having Kansas, Duke, UK and Syracuse meeting in the first round games of the sweet 16.   If it happens, these are instant classics.

I posted previously about a smaller world cup/risk pool I came up with and the MOTHERSHIPs way of doing it is simpler and more like NCAA hoops brackets.  My pool is more about military strategy, espionage, and being the smallest giant ever.

Iif you're interested in checking out/joining my smaller WC bracket pool.  Time is tight.

Let me know at: [email protected].

Can't hardly wait.

I hate you and your little kitten.  OK, not the kitten - he/she is too cute.  But, you, definitely suck!  I hope you step in a pile of zebra shit on your way to the stadium!

<Rant Over>

Should be an awsome game.  I hope you enjoy yourself!

<P.S. Rant>

I also hope you enjoy your zebra shit.
