The Raiders made absolutely sure that they would not be out-stupided by the Broncos.

...until they actually play (or don't play).
So, biggest star: Beanie Wells was a lucky pick-up for the Cardinals. Everyone on this board knows what Wells can do.
Best day: New England re-stocking their defense. Philadelphia adding offensive talent.
Worst day: New Orleans, simply because they only had one pick. Their defense sucks beyond all belief and Malcolm Jenkins can't do it alone. They needed three or four bodies in the door.
Dallas didn't actually pick today, so they performed the worst talent acquisition wise
They get a couple of picks tomorrow, right?
to call Heyward-Bey a bust really. He's not likely to perform like the top wr and #7 pick because he isn't that calibre of player. It's Oakland's dumb fault for taking him there...
If it wasn't for the Raiders, I think the Lions would have had the worst draft.
As for Beanie Wells, I think he will find that the strength that helped him pull away from college players isn't quite enough to give him the same advantage in the NFL. That will turn him into an average player. He will get some yards, but he isn't fast enough or strong enough to become an elite NFL player.
And he'll probably make less money than he made at OSU.....

Cleveland had a pretty bad draft too in my opinion. They reached on taking Alex Mack and then took two wide receivers after that. In terms of best draft, I would say the Patriots given the quality of the players they got in only the second round. They shored up their secondary and got a replacement for Rodney Harrison in Patrick Chung and a future starter at CB in Donald Brown (a position of need), and a replacement for
Vince Wilfork at nose tackle should he leave after this year. I don't know too much about that offensive tackle they picked, but they did well when picking Logan Mankins so I trust this pick as well. Other than that, the 49ers found their playmaker in Crabtree and I think the Jaguars got two quality offensive lineman to protect the Garrard.
