"A lot of pressure for a QB to have to carry the load"

Umm....Tom Brady is literally the greatest QB in history so I don't think that's something he can't do. And which elite teams don't have QBs that can carry the load (not that TB is elite).

Playoffs on MNF is just greed gone amuck. Everything the owners do is in the name of $$$ of course so that's not new. This is different though because the 49ers will have 2 extra rest days than the winner tonight. That should not happen in the playoffs. The way they did wild card weekend two years ago was the right way. That was 3 games on Sat and 3 on Sun.

As someone who will be cheering for SF for the rest of these playoffs (Lions fan, dad used to be 49ers season ticket holder) I don't mind the extra rest.

With that said, yeah it's not really fair. Plus they have to fly TB to SF which is about as long of a flight as you'll get in the NFL. Then again, I'm not sure that's that big of a deal. I fly across the country all the time and it's not that difficult and it's only a 3 hour time difference.

Just turned it on. Wondered who the grey-haired fellow at the end of the bench was. Tom, it turns out, after throwing his first red zone interception since joining the Buccaneers. Coup de grace?

Tampa has looked stale all year.  Would love to see Brady breakout during playoffs but I don't expect it.  Just doesn't have the line, the running game or the weapons.

To me it looks like SF vs the Bills, Chiefs or Bengals in the superbowl

of all the teams, SF looks the most "Michiganesque" in terms of style

Yeah I think at this point there's nothing left to prove. He's a solid QB and puts up good numbers, but realistically would you take him over any of the elite QBs (Burrow, Mahomes, Allen, etc)? And make him a year older and it's unlikely he'll be better.

Realistically, if the Lions had a choice between Goff and Brady next year, I'm not sure I'd prefer Brady.
