OT: All Big 10 Volleyball National Championship—Wisconsin vs. Nebraska
Wisconsin keeps finding success doing the same thing. Where have I heard that before?

So the B1G West is good for something. All jokes aside, Women's volleyball is a great sport, very watchable as we have had season tickets for 10 years. Coach Rosen does a great job considering B1G is the true powerhouse league. For all of you who have volleyball playing daughters, highly recommend it. Season tickets are really inexpensive, like $240 for the whole season, and many games are at Crisler.

I used to watch quite a bit Big Ten women's volleyball on TV before I cut the cable. It is very enjoyable and high quality games. My favorite player on the current Michigan team is Paige Jones. And Lexi Sun of Nebraska is simply one of the most gorgeous female athletes in any sports, but her game never matches up with the hype when she was out of the high school.

General Admission season tickets are only $50 for the whole season. I'm not sure what the price for reserved seats is.

The first few rounds of the tournament were held on campuses of the higher seeds in front of packed arenas. What a concept.
The Big 10 has great volleyball and the women are remarkable athletes. There are a lot of interesting stories,great rivalries and few commercial breaks. The B1G Network shows most of the games during the regular season and it is easy to get hooked on these weeknight games. Check it out next season.

Is men's volleyball still a Varsity sport at Michigan?

I don't think it ever was. Club sport. But I'm not sure. OSU and Penn State have had varsity programs for decades. Not sure about others.

Yeah, I don't know if it ever was: maybe in the old days? There are only 23(!) men's teams at the varsity level nationwide, which is kind of a bummer. Either way - it's an awesome sport, men's and women's.

Always (well, usually) happy to see the B1G do well. I was rooting hard for Louisville this time, since the daughter of a player I coached many years ago in Jamaica is a starter for the Cardinals. Tough loss for them after an undefeated regular season, but it was a great 5-game match, with high level play on both sides.

That Louisville - Wisconsin game was great down the stretch. Glad to see lady badgers win, the Ville fans were douches. And that team was undefeated.

Two great teams, but will be rooting for the Corn because Lexi Sun is awesome ... even if she isn't starting any more.
B1G volleyball is so much fun to watch, glad we get some on the BTN.
