OT: 2017 NCAA Men's Lacrosse Championship Tournament Underway
Should we be watching for potential coaching candidates or something?
And the 4 Big Ten teams in the tournament. Gives a good measuring stick of the competition and where the program has to grow.
I think Towson would have won this one going away if Woodall didn't get hurt. He's won 66% this year if you take out the game against Denver and Baptiste.
I'm disappointed in Penn State - thought they would go far this year. They usually fall apart at the end of the season but this time they actually made the NCAAs and took an early exit. I really thik the game needs teams like Penn St - big school, broad fan base, successful non-revenue athl programs and most of all non-Blue Blood- to do well in the tournament. I would like to see them in the Final 4 instead of the Maryland-Hopkins-ACC axis we always seem to get.
Lots of talk about Nadelen being ready for a big-time gig, incl Michigan. This Towson team seems a little low-scoring for my taste but this was a big W for him today.
I swear Towson has the worst shooting percentage, but I do love how aggressive they are.
Always enjoy seeing Penn State lose
Was he a grad transfer? Is that kind of wierd that a grad transfer had academic inelegibility problems?
I'm excited for the Albany-UNC game tonight. Hope the weather isn't too shitty and they get a good crowd there.
For real - they're getting their ass handed to them for the 3rd straight game. Good thing they were a 6 seed - yugh. Petro? No thanks.
...4 Finals appearance. To act like he's not a good coach is...weird. I would be surprised if he left Johns Hopkins for Michigan but I wouldn't be against it.
Ierlan and Field make Albany just so scary to play (and fun to watch).
