OSU Game Time Set at 12

Submitted by hart20 on

It looks like the OSU game is set to be played at noon, again. This is from looking at the schedule on Rivals. ESPN still hasn't updated their schedule yet.

Personally, I hate noon games. They're all right once in a while, but not every weekend. I don't remember every having this many noon games in 1 season before.

I tried to search the site to see if this has been posted before but the search function seems to be broken and I can't access anything beyond the 1st page of MGoBoard. Is that only me or is anyone else experiencing that too? I figured that I'm on here often enough that I'd remember if this has been posted before and I don't remember it being posted, so I went ahead and posted it. Apologies if it's already been posted.

If we don't beat OSU, I quit. I don't know from what, but I just quit.

Since I never have much luck with the spreadsheet, this seems like the most logical place to sell my tickets for the game. I'm looking for $400 for the pair. They are in Section 38 Row 24 seats 7 & 8. These are aisle seats. I have to work out of town for the holiday and won't be back in time. I'll ExpressMail the tickets for free!

I like it.  Michigan vs. Ohio State is is supposed to be played at noon.  That's the way it's been the majority of my lifetime.  Only 2006 and 1985 were 3:30 starts.  Growing up, I have so many wonderful memories of many victories over OSU were celebrating started in mid-afternoon.  I really, really, really, REALLY want to feel that way again.

Biakabutuka running wild in 95 was my favorite post-Thanksgiving UM/OSU game.  I'd like it very much if this year's team could challenge it.  But if I see as much red at the big house as 2 years ago, I'm going to start throwing things.

I graduated in 2001 so my student ID is obviously expired. Does anyone know if it will work with a student ticket to get in? It has a couple years ago and they don't even seem to look at them very strictly die to the volume of people entering. Any advise?

The OP hasn't seen this many noon games before?!  How old are you, 12?  I love it, and if Michigan takes the numbers off the helmets and Ohio State wears their usual God awful uniforms as opposed to the Nike Pro-Clusterfuck combo then I will actually be tricked into believing this resembles the classic rivalry.

As a West Coaster I can eat a late breakfast at kickoff. By the time the game is over I can mow the lawn either with "dammit get off my lawn!" aggression or with a ridiculously happy "GO BLUE!" smile on my face.

Oh, except this time I'll be in Wisconsin in November visiting family. Hurray for Thanksgiving, snow and crisp, cold autumn Saturdays!

Glad it's at noon ....as is tradition.

Now as someone said above, if only now O$U can wear their traditional ugly uniforms to make this game seem like old times.

Also, the stadium better be rockin.  Hopin its as loud as the ND game was.
