OSU fans show up at SEC media days to troll Alabama
http://espn.go.com/blog/sec/post/_/id/103662/ohio-state-fans-show-up-at…
First post, searched for this on the board and couldn't find it. Stay classy OSU.
While losing is never acceptable to either side, I think OSU fans would be more forgiving if the loss happened in 2016, despite it being in Columbus. OSU returns nearly everyone from last year, and it feels like the general sentiment is if you don't repeat, the season is a failure, given the level of talent that's across the board. No real weaknesses anywhere.
Not inconceivable to think that 2016 will be a "step back" year (by current OSU standards), as you'll likely be losing Jones, Bosa, Elliott, Washington, maybe Bell depending on how he plays, not to mention definitely losing B. Miller, and a few guys off the O-Line. Essentially a lot of playmakers. I know Meyer reloads, but that's a lot to overcome for any team. So I think OSU losing in 2016 would be more "forgivable." Especially considering that Harbaugh will have had a year to get his team acclimated and get a whole class of his guys in.
But I stand by my statement that if Michigan manages to pull an upset next November, Columbus will be a smoking crater by the following morning.
behavior, many media members that were present regretted reaching for a cold beverage from the refreshment area coolers.
I don't mind since Saban blamed early NFL draft grades for his team's performance against OSU.
One of the guys claimed to be an Auburn fan.
I would think that if you really wanted to do something that would troll Alabama fans, you would do something like dress as Mike Shula and bring a box of free textbooks to pass out to the crowd or hold I sign that reads, "Who Here Misses Mike DuBose?"
To each their own form of trolling, I suppose.
This is such a Buckeye thing to do. Gear up and go somewhere that has nothing to do with you just to be assholes.
I can't tell if you're serious, or possibly the worlds most sarcastic person. Just in case:
Yes I did, because I thought this was a classless thing to do by these fans. Would you care to defend them and tell us why you think their actions were classy?
Don't follow baseball, so that reference went over my head. Anyway, since you indicated your comment was sarcasm that also went over my head, I'm happy to take back my passive-aggressive response.

This is pretty stupid but also more than a little funny
So a couple of OSU fans went to the SEC media day to protest that all the talk (at the SEC media day) was about the SEC? Because they expected the SEC coaches and players to talk about OSU? At the SEC media day?
I think that makes these two fools look idiotic, but really doesn't say much about the OSU fan base at large. Other actions of the OSU fanbase are much more emblematic than these two geeks.
Put another way, coolers speak louder than nerds.
When Michigan wins their next national championship, I can guarantee you that there will be no Michigan fans doing this.
Michigan is concerned with Michigan. That's what matters.
"Michigan is concerned with Michigan," said the Michigan Man posting on a thread about Ohio State 10+ times.
Just like we all secretly care about uniforms, you secretly care about Ohio State. Just admit it!
What? Almost all of those posts were defending my points on my stance on two-teamer fans...
Yeah, I'm with you. Of course I'm concerned with Ohio State, Michigan State, Notre Dame, and even (until they ... douched themselves with Lane Kiffin*) Tennessee. I like to take shots at each school and their fans, and think it's part of the fun of college football.
Most Michigan fans I know agree on this.
*Phil Fulmer still pisses me off, but it seems that Tennessee itself did its penance with Kiffin, so I can't muster the same disdain for the Vols.

What do Michigan, OSU and MSU fans all have in common?
They're all obsessed with Michigan.
The recent running joke is 11W might as well hire a person just to write all its Michigan content.
I could care less what you people do down there. The only thing I care about in regards to your team is beating them in every sport, but again, that involves moreso involves Michigan being good.
I focus my energy solely on supporting Michigan. I just don't get people who buy anti-insert rival here shirts. Just do you. It's more effective.
Today was fun because I enjoy the occasional poking of fun at rivals online.
Do you seriously expect me to believe you hold wins over Ball State in the same regard as wins over Ohio State just because they are both Michigan wins and that's what's really important? Your god, Bo Schembechler, the guy you want to name your kid (partially) after, would even think that's crazy. You can pretend you don't care about OSU, but you care. You just do.
You should maaaybe consider dropping all of the definitive statements, in this whole string, and elsewhere.
I just don't get people who buy anti-insert rival here shirts. Just do you. It's more effective.
You have a sticker of Michigan Calvin pissing on OSU. When you post pictures of your room all over the site, people see that stuff and form certain opinions. Then you go and reinforce them by typing and hitting "reply".
unless you're a bunch of classless fucks. Which they are.
Fans being fans. Moving on.

At least we've beaten our rivals in the last decade.
