OK Tom, final word on the otter?

Obviously at this point I can wait it out...but what is your final prediction on where he will announce? I want to test your skillz.

He decommitted and has given no inclination as to returning to blue. I would love for him to recommit, but that whole scenario doesn't make sense. He's probably gone, and we'll be ok. The speculation as to him recommitting is borderline comical. I'll cross my fingers, but no breath holding. The only positive, he won't be in the Big 11.

I think that if they felt they weren't going to get him they'd be going after some other otters at that position. Rivals and Scout don't have them looking at any others.

With all our redshirt freshmen in 2009, I wonder if it's possible that Ferrara will move back to defense. I mean, if he's neck-and-neck with McAvoy and/or Barnum, maybe he could help out more at DT, since we basically just have Martin and Sagesse returning and then two (or three) incoming DT's. I'm sure that would depend on what kind of defense we're running, whether Campbell commits, etc. But I thought Ferrara was a decent DT and could be a contributor there.
