Ohio State Gravewalk - Tuesday (11/24) at 7pm at Burton Tower
Thought we should get the word out a little earlier than usual.
The annual Michigan vs. Ohio State Gravewalk event will take place this coming Tuesday November 24th. Everyone will meet up at Burton Bell Tower at 7pm and walk to Forest Hills Cemetery up on Observatory and proceed to the graves of Bo Schembechler, Bob Ufer and Fielding Yost to lay flowers and pay respect prior to The Game.
Its a great event for those who haven't been before and certainly helps get you in the spirit for Saturday.

Its been pretty consistently on the Tuesday since they moved The Game to after Thanksgiving in order to accomodate the students who go home for Thanksgiving.

That seems like it was only a few years ago really, but then again the last time I can remember The Game being before Thanksgiving was 2009, so it has been a while. Actually, I remember a few threads here about the change because it did throw the schedule for the week into turmoil, as I recall.

Why not? Arrange a second one for Friday night. Or, just go alone, it is a different feel without a crowd and no one will notice the eye moisture.

Not run by students actually. Run by some alums. They have families (presumptively).

...and the cemetary is only open late this one night. Normally it closes to the public at 4PM.

I'm sure he respects the tradition behind the walk and wouldn't want to make the event about him.
On the other hand, I could see him showing up unannounced.
