Official Post Game Thread
Someone has to do it...Obviously not our best effort. This one is on the offense. The defense had horrible breakdowns BUT overall enough stops to win imho. The offense however did not produce. What matters though is what we do from here on out. We've got a tough stretch starting with Iowa, Penn State and Illinois coming up. We need to get over this fast...Oh and I hope this thread doesn't turn into an anti RRod rant.

I don't think I've ever been more upset about a penalty on another team than I was about the false start penalty that wiped out a nice stop by the D. State converted the subsequent 3rd and 15 and eventually scored the a TD on a long run. Man it really felt like we were cursed today watching this game (maybe I'm projecting my Cubs fan angst on this team).

They need to get the play stopped faster if it's not going to count. That completely turned the game.

While it aways hurts to lose to sparty, they are a good team. And i dont think that anyone thought that we were going to go undefeated, so all is well. My question / concern is; will this loss start to slow our recruiting momentum? After just landing Dee it seems like we had a lot of momentum, with alot of visitors at the big house for the game. Hopefully they see this loss as potential playing time, and not be turned off by the loss.
