Notre Dame Bold Predictions

Submitted by StevieY19 on

Now I may not be the best person to make fun of an "11-0 going into the last game" prediction, as I am working through a diary series of an identical nature, but this is a serious prediction from a Notre Dame fan.  And as I disclaimed in my first diary: "Well, my first shot at a diary entry will be a Notre Dame fan-esque outlook for the Utah game..."

Turns out that was a bit of an apt reference to ND...

I guess everyone may not be able to head to that link, so I'll just sum up: most games will be good games, but the Irish will prevail.  Because, well...it's not too clear why.

The writer's reason for ND winning all of those games is because the have more "talent" than everyone else. Also, they have more "talent" coming back. Where exactly was this talent last year? Jeeezzz if all you needed to win games is more talent than the other team, Michigan would have at least another MNC since '97....or perhaps at least a Rose Bowl win since then...ahhhhh boy.

Yeah, the kid who wrote that is straght retarded. In addition to all of his posts being littered with spelling and grammatical errors (not a huge deal, but too many gets distracting), he uses no solid logic. He points out one negative for each team, and because of that, ND will win. His reason that ND will beat Pitt? They lost their running back (which I don't even think is true). Does this mean that every team that loses a starting RB is destined to go 0-12?

"let's just try to win the first game.that in itself will be a challenge." i like that response...i know how he feels.

or

"11-0 going into SC is a joke. It's not going to happen.
This team has waaaaaay to much to grow.

Lets think more:
PapaJohns.com Bowl"

There definitely seems to be some reasonable posters there, aside from the first one. I liked the guy saying he would be happy to come away from the Michigan game with under 3 sacks.  Although most of them seem to consider Michigan a gauranteed win which I find surprising.
