Non CC: Fantasy Football Championship Weekend
Games essentially start tonight, and need to find some other input (the ol' trusty M Go Board) on decisions for the championship weekend:
QB: Matt Ryan/Matthew Stafford
RB: Mark Ingram, Jamaal Charles, Demarco Murray, Lamar Miller, Joseph Randle
WR: O. Beckham, Mike Evans, Golden Tate
Question: start Matt Ryan in the shootout over Stafford? Looks like D. Murray plays, but bench him and the Cowboys 2/3 man rotation for Lamar Miller? Get the combo points of Matthew Stafford and Golden Tate and go with 2 RBs?
HARBAUGH ON.

Hoping to repeat in my league. DeMarco Murray's injury status doesn't help me, nor does the possibility of Edelman being out with a concussion. Yet Jimmah starting against the Lions D could cancel it out.
Basically,

due to injuries and our league's rule on having roster's lock at week 14, I'm pretty much starting the only healthy guys I have. It would be a miracle if I pull this off, giving I'm having to start Oakland's TE as my flex play simply because he's my last healthy player. Losing Brandon Marshall to IR was a killer, though I've still managed to be the high-scorer in the league the last two weeks thanks to Matt Ryan and Jeremy Hill respectively.

Are you playing with toddlers? That's the only explanation for how you drafted a team like that.

I'm guessing you grabbed Foster in Rd 1, but Nelson, Brown, Murray, and Graham all should have gone in round 2. Unless you have some really weird scoring there's no explanation for 11 people drafting that poorly. Further explained by someone dropping Thomas for a 2-3 week injury when he was flirting with the best season ever by a TE.

Made the championship game as an underdog. My team is pretty loaded, but I was seeded low mostly due to me having absolutely shit luck most of the year... lost a handful regular season games by 5 points or less and lost Jamaal Charles for the beginning of the year.
BUT anyway, of course it can't end easily! Looks like TY Hilton and Julio Jones will either both be out, or one of them will be in. And if one of them is in, likely as a decoy....
Thankfully, I have a pretty good bench of WR's in Golden Tate (who I expect will carve up the Bears), Kelvin Benjamin, Brandon Lafell, and I picked up Harry Douglas from waivers.. OBJ has been in my flex (THANKFULLY), but it will be hard as hell to decide who I want to start.
I almost hope Hilton/Jones are just ruled out so I can move ahead with bench options instead of running the risk of whether or not they'll just be decoys for their teams.
So in any event, you guys got any thoughts? Which ones are best out of my bench of Tate/Benjamin/Lafell/Douglas? And do you think I should start them even if Hilton/Jones are active?

I would suggest Tate or LaFell off your bench. Jets and Bears D are pretty bad and Benjamin will probably match up against Haden. I think I'd play Jones if he's active against the Saints as they need to win that game and the Lions and Pats might not need to have big offensive outputs to win.
Just out of curiosity, who are your RBs if you have (at least) 7 WRs?
December 20th, 2014 at 5:34 PM ^
Yeah I was thinking I'd start Tate over Hilton. Yahoo Sports already took Hilton's projected points to 0, and it makes sense he won't play since Indy already clinched.
My RB's are Joique Bell and Jamaal Charles. Latavius Murray on the bench. I had Denard for awhile until I dropped him for another WR when he got hurt, and my second round pick was Montee Ball who clearly didn't work out.
I didn't have this many WR's until this week, though, when I read more and more about HIlton & Jones.
Outside of Charles, I had a revolving door of RB's for most of the year since Ball didn't pan out, but it worked in the end.

I'm in one league's championship match:
(My team first)
QB: Brees vs. Roethlisberger
WR: E. Sanders and Beckham, Jr. vs K. Stills and V. Jackson
RB: L. Bell and J. Bell vs. P. Thomas and D. Martin
TE: D. Walker vs. J. Graham
Flex (RB or WR): L. Murray vs. J. Edelman
K: J. Tucker vs. C. Sturgis
DEF: Jags vs. Lions
I WAXED this opponent on the last game of the regular season (week 13). He has three guys on New Orleans going against Drew Brees...should be interesting.

Pierre could have a huge game if so.
December 20th, 2014 at 9:22 PM ^
Yeah, it's PPR, but any receptions by Thomas, Stills or Graham would be negated by the fact that my QB is throwing the ball to them :). Receivers get one point per 15 yards, while QB's get one point per 25 yards. QB's (and RB's/TE's/WR's) get one point per reception/completion, while QB's get negative one for incompletions.

Lions. Bortles is way better than Clausen and the Raiders offense has been improved since they put Latavious Murrey in at RB.

Manning Questionable for Monday or Phillip Rivers tonight, in an hour?
December 20th, 2014 at 7:34 PM ^
Tough decision. Manning's #s have been iffy late anyway. I'd go with Rivers. SF looks like they may be in self destruct mode. And the Broncos don't have a lot to play for. They probably aren't catching NE for home field. The Bengals and Chargers are both in the playoff race and both really need to win.
