No UFR is killing me!

Submitted by StevieY19 on

Not complaining, I understand the Gods of the interwebs have to get their jollies somehow, but I need the UFR.  Watching the game in person, there was so much going on and one of my first thoughts on the way out was, "can't wait for the UFR."  And now as I sit in class searching for something to jam in my eye to ease the pain, I just needed to vent a little.  Shows how much we appreciate Brian's premier product.

I'm looking forward to seeing the O-line breakdowns, linebackers, and safeties in that order.  The rest of the team has the talent to come around and it will be interesting to see where UM stands in the problem areas.  Anyone keeping me company, or sharing my pain?

Best: Graham, Ezah, Johnson, Jamison, Taylor, Hemingway?, Butler???, Shaw??????.......I'm trying for people on O, but, you know, that's rough.

Worst....yeah, O-line, but also Stevie Brown, Evans, Stewart, Sheridan, Minor (fumble, I think he dropped a couple passes?)...

I actually agree with your list tjking82.

Whats most interesting about breaking down the Utah game is how many different guys were out there. We all knew that fact about the offense, but 10 different guys that I would label as first-time regular contributers hit the field for the defense on Saturday. Other than Stewart and Panter, they all have eligibility for at least one more year. Should be interesting to see who looked good among that group. Patterson and Martin each made a big play. Van Bergen seemed to be playing every down. And, of course, we need some closure on just what type of game Stevie Borwn had.

As for Warren, three plays crushed us on defense: the long run and catch to set up their first TD, the Asiata swing pass and the TD right before the half. Warren was part of all of those plays. Its unclear what his total blame would be on those plays.

......thought Brown played a nice game. I'm still not convinced he was the #1 culprit on that long catch and run on Utah's first drive. And, other than that play, I didn't see any obvious failure on his part. Thought he delivered some big hits and madea huge play at the goal line.  So, I doubt we'll see Brown on any worst list.

Although I'm not sure anyone cares (it saves me from boredom, that's why I do it - yes, that's my story and I'm sticking to it), the Run Chart (Hart Chart from last year) should be out tomorrow as well over at my blog. Not quite as catchy as "Hart Chart", but Shaw/McGuffie/Odoms/Minor/Brown/Sheridan/Threet Chart doesn't really work, heh.
