Nike's The Opening 2014
Nike's The Opening will be taking place starting this weekend. There's always a lot of recruiting news, videos, interviews, television coverage, etc., so be prepared for a deluge of content.
Anyway, I put together a list of Michigan targets who will be out there in Oregon for the event. Note that Chris Clark is not attending the event now due to personal reasons, according to Twitter. You may remember that he originally planned to commit at The Opening but then said he wanted to recruit for Michigan while at the event, so that won't be happening.

I am not one, but many.
I would certainly agree regarding his college decision (decommitment, timeline, etc.). However, I think we should be careful regarding this particular event, because "personal reasons" could be some sort of health issue, death in the family, etc. I hope it's nothing bad, but most people don't cancel trips for happy reasons.
I know he made a change in schools but I would like to think he is firm now that he has gone further through the process. Hopefully the personal reasons are not serious. Its gotta be tough on these kids to get so much attention and not have second thoughts on what fits best at that age.
Those team names are terrible... Alpha Pro, Fly Rush, Vapor Carbon, Mach Speed, Land Sharks... yeesh.
It's about 150 players in total right? Let's hope our guys can do a stellar job on the field and also in recruiting other players.
I believe they're all names of Nike cleats.
I think I read that there are 162 players attending The Opening.
Not their top line ones, but they've been good so far.
