Nice win by M Women's BB team in Atlanta
The Michigan Wolverine's womens basketball team played Georgia Tech here in Atlanta this evening in the Big Ten / ACC challenge and to say they looked good would an understatement! Michigan absolutely crushed a 7-0 Georgia Tech team by 40 points at McCamish Pavilion. The team got off to a quick 7-0 start and went into the half with a 17 point lead and came out firing on all cylinders in the second half.
On a side note, this was my first time seeing freshmen and last year's Michigan Miss Basketball, Kysre Gondrezick play and she is legit! She dropped 15 points, 4 rebeounds, 2 assists, 2 steals, and a block. She's going to do great things for the team!
For any of you in the Atlanta area, Michigan has a great alumni association down here and Michigan had a great showing at the game tonight from the group. Be sure to join if you haven't already.

Awesome to hear of UM fans showing out in SEC country. Hope we can rally behind all sports teams, not just football, mens bball and hockey(in order of importance obviously)

I didn't. They are undeserved, the result of a technical issue.

Five players in double figures, including Jillian Dunston with a double-double.
Going into the game the gals were ranked first in the nation in 3-point % (45.5%) and 2nd in field goals (51.8%). Saw an early game on line. They're not just good, they're fun to watch.

Michigan's second round game in the NCAA volleyball tournament (winner goes to the Sweet Sixteen) is tonight at Crisler Arena at 7:30 pm. #12 Michigan (23-10) v Oregon (21-9).
Because it's in Crisler, there are seats available.

Their coach should also be the men's Bball coach.
