NFL Slate of Games - 10/4

Decent matchups today despite the postponements. I'm rotating Browns/Cowboys (entertaining game), Vikings/Texans (playoff teams from last season who have started 0-3), Lions/Saints (Lions looking good so far, but Patricia-time is coming), Seahawks/Dolphins (Russell Wilson on an MVP pace). Not many storylines this morning, but some good football so far.

Our guy Donovan Peoples-Jones made his NFL debut today. Had a nice punt return!

Go Blue!

Miles Garrett having a helluva game, and season for the Browns!

It stuns me how announcers continue to wonder why the Texans offense is struggling this year. HUH? They traded, arguably, the best wide receiver in the game (DeAndre Hopkins), and let a 1000 yard back walk away in free agency! I don't know who's worse, Bill O'Brien the GM or Bill O'Brien the Head Coach!

Every time that stupid first round pick tight end blows another play it reminds why the GM has to be fired too. Blow this shit up!

Dalvin Cook is having a GAME for the Vikings, and Alvin Kamara... what can be said about his game?! There's still a place for good running backs in this league!

Lions are the salve for the Saints ailing offense, apparently! Wasn't Patricia a defensive coordinator? Didn't Bob Quinn bring the Patriot Way to Detroit? If the Saints can get into the 40's and keep the Lions under 30, we might get that change during the next week!

Question - who throws a better deep ball than Russell Wilson! Wow!

Question - who has been the worst former Belichick assistant as a Head Coach? Patricia, Mangini, McDaniels, Weiss, Crennel, O'Brien?

Donovan Peoples-Jones doing his part to stay on the field with a nice block to get Kareem Hunt into the endzone! We saw that a lot here! The young man is a well coached, good football player!

Brian Flores is a pretty good coach. He keeps Miami competitive despite an extreme talent disadvantage. When Tua is ready, and the rest of the talent steps up/arrives... watch out!

Seahawks and Arizona having a little of that West Coast team - East Coast time zone trouble.
