"Recruiting hostesses" + quote about them being "real pretty" and "it's exciting to have someone like that" + SEC school = bow-chicka-wow-wow

"A significant part of the investigation is focused on the use of recruiting hostesses who have become folk heroes on Tennessee Internet message boards for their ability to help lure top recruits." They must have brought them up from Gainesville. Tennessee women are even more bovine than the ones in EL, and that's counting the ones who don't have harelips from recessive genes.

"It was nothing planned on no one's part." Ok, sir, these girls from Tennessee just happened to show up waving signs at your kid's game hundreds of miles away. I really really want Kiffin to flame out spectacularly.

My dad is a die hard Tennessee fan. He has always asked me to update him on the vouls recruiting and lately I've had nothing but great news for him...Tennessee AND Kiffin have been cleaning up. Now how in the world am I going to tell a 63 year old life long Tennessee fan about this??? I don't think his heart can take it.

“You don’t want to go to a college where they ain’t pretty,” Lattimore said. He's got his educational priorities straight, that's for sure.

“You don’t want to go to a college where they ain’t pretty,” great quote . I love how the NCAA can start an investigation on something like this, but as far as USC paying players like Reggie Bush and OJ Mayo nothing seems to happen.

All the SEC schools do this. I knew a girl who was a hostess. A group of them would take visiting football and basketball recruits on tours around campus. I remember local sports talk radio mentioning that a mc donalds AA was in town and being recruited by Bruce Pearl. I immediately called her up and asked her to "take one for the team", she was not amused. The girls are much hotter in the SEC. And as weird as it seems to the adult world, most of the kids being recruited care more about parties and girls than academics and career options after graduation.

It might be hard to prove that it was orchestrated by the athletic department, but that might not be required for a violation to have occurred--since they take on an official role for the athletic department, they're probably required to follow the rules and Tennessee would be expected to make sure they knew the rules and followed them. Of course, maybe your point was that it might not be considered much of a violation unless the athletic department was directing it.

David Oku said EXACTLY the same things last year about being shown a "really good time by his pretty hostess" (wink, wink, nudge, nudge) on his recruting visit to UT. Where did Oku end up signing? Oh, yeah, UT. That's just life in the SEC...and that's why the SEC is usually the best conference in CFB. Poontang==Elite Players==CFB Dominance

how are these girls lured into doing that? How much are they paid? Those girls are probably like the ones the liquor/beer companies send into bars here.. they're ordered to tease the hell out of you, get what they want from you(alcohol purchase).. and then leave you with blue balls..
