MSU at Iowa game postponed due to COVID
Sounds like a few positive cases on the MSU side. I was really looking forward to this game. Could've enjoyed a MSU loss or Michigan getting a bigger lead in the conference.

Definitely ducking Iowa.

There has been a lot of accusations about worse teams using Covid to “duck” games or avoid losses. It’s possible, but I think it’s a lot more likely that teams that suck and are losing and have less and less to play for with each loss kind of lose focus and get lax with the protocols. All it takes is a couple guys losing discipline and the exposure risk goes up fast.

This will go down as Steven Izzo’s greatest contribution to Sparty basketball.

Ok I'll mention it here.. they still look like crap and won't get much better. Not sure what games you are watching.

Izzo is a twerp, but they've got a few good players and he will have them playing at a higher level by the end of February.

Unlike football that had no bye weeks, basketball has open dates where teams can make up missed games. So I won't say any team is totally "ducking" another team this early in the season.

When I watch MSU, it makes me appreciate the players and coaches Michigan has. MSU is just not a fun offense to watch.

Trying to prevent a 2 - 5 start.
NEWSFLASH!!!!
Even if you played and got lucky to beat Iowa, you would still be 4 games behind Michigan; you know, the Leader and Best. (At this time.)
