Germany 99 Nigeria 92. Wagner had 17 points in 12 minutes. He was 6-8 FG and 2-2 3PTs.
Seems like if he played 20-25 it would not be so close. Maybe next game.
Wagner is a guarantee foul out if he plays that long. It’s the biggest thing holding him back from succeeding in the NBA. He cannot defend a lick without fouling.
Moe was in foul trouble, however, he hasn't been in foul trouble too much in the tournament and qualifying. He reaches in too much and receives cheap fouls, but he also got three steals, so there's that. He actually seems like the best player for Germany and he's the reason Germany got into the Olympic tournament in the first place.
I was speaking in terms of his NBA career. But he has been in foul trouble quite a bit as I’ve watched most of the games. Don’t pay attention to just the box score. He’ll pick up 2 quick ones and have to sit out the rest of the first half. He’s clearly the best offensive player Germany has but there’s a reason he doesn’t start and averages like 18 minutes a game.
I knew what you were saying. I have watched most of the games as well. But he just had 3 fouls in 21 minutes during the Italy game (along with 3 other german players) and 2 fouls in 28 minutes during the Brazil game. I only watched one game for qualifying where he was definitely in foul trouble before last nights game. I feel like the german coach wants to play his players from the euroleauge he's familiar with before playing Bonga and Moe.

Nigeria had a guy off the bench score 33 whereas their entire starting lineup combined for 22. Never seen that before.
Mo is one of my all-time favorites.
