Did you watch Milton? I’m as underwhelmed as anybody about this team so far but this hot take may be a bit much
September 21st, 2019 at 6:38 PM ^
He has a cannon though. Milton armpunting to this set of receivers would be an enjoyable interlude between series of watching our D get trampled by the opponents' run game for the rest of the year.
September 21st, 2019 at 6:42 PM ^
Lol fair enough.
I enjoyed your pitch and am now on board. Maybe we’ll at least see one crazy play a game.
September 21st, 2019 at 6:27 PM ^
He is young and still prefers to run the ball rather than go through his reads. Not ready.
September 21st, 2019 at 6:56 PM ^
You mean like Patterson?
September 21st, 2019 at 7:41 PM ^
And D-Caff.
None of our QBs seem to feel comfortable in this offense...or perhaps it’s because of the OLine imploding (at times) directly in front of them, on the edge, from behind, shit everywhere.
September 21st, 2019 at 8:39 PM ^
Patterson had -1 yd on 3 carries. Probably more his panicking and leaving the pocket versus making any kind of read. In fact, I believe he left the pocket early and was scrambling towards the sidelines when he luckily found Bell on that early big gain. WRs are all probably pissed that he's not able to get them the ball.
September 21st, 2019 at 9:16 PM ^
Panicking because 3 Wisconsin players were in the backfield all day?
September 21st, 2019 at 6:29 PM ^
I am laughing at loud with the realization that Ed Orgeron is in fact a better football coach than Jim Harbaugh. Ed Orgeron can't speak English!
September 21st, 2019 at 6:37 PM ^
Some might say that Harbaugh can't speak English either.
September 21st, 2019 at 6:39 PM ^
Cool cool just bash other people’s culture.
September 21st, 2019 at 6:46 PM ^
Cajun is kinda Engish..
September 21st, 2019 at 6:49 PM ^
I give Orgeron a ton of credit. He spent the last 10 years waiting for another opportunity after his Ole Miss tenure. Did a good job as an interim at both USC and LSU. He tried the offense with Canada and fired him when it wasn't what he wanted. He quickly moved in a different direction and now they seem to firing on all cylinders offensively.
September 21st, 2019 at 7:00 PM ^
The guy definitely deserves credit for sticking it out and taking advantage of an opportunity. I actually root for the guy.
September 21st, 2019 at 9:01 PM ^
Orgeron got his dick stomped on last year by Bama. LSU is stuck in the same hell we are where they can never show up for a big game.
September 22nd, 2019 at 12:20 AM ^
LSU just beat Texas AT Texas a couple weeks ago . Michigan hasn’t sniffed a big road win like that in over a fucking decade
September 21st, 2019 at 8:45 PM ^
Are you telling me there may be a Cajun Jim Harbaugh somewhere in the College Football ranks? I'm intrigued.
September 21st, 2019 at 6:31 PM ^
He sucks. Let’s go for it.
September 21st, 2019 at 6:37 PM ^
I mean, we may not have a choice.
September 21st, 2019 at 6:35 PM ^
My whole perspective on this season was be in the big ten championship game. While it doesnt look like that will happen that goal is still possible. Hopefully Dylan heals up and can play saturday
September 21st, 2019 at 6:36 PM ^
You can't heal from a concussion in a week. Even if it took 5 days...the dude hasn't practiced. And he looks like he needs it.
September 21st, 2019 at 6:53 PM ^
I dont know, according to Calvin Johnson you can play while concussed.
September 21st, 2019 at 8:05 PM ^
Technically, you can. It all depends on when he is symptom free and is able to start the protocol. I wouldn't advocate for rushing it, but if he doesn't have symptoms tomorrow, he can begin the progression of physical activity. But like you said, he wouldn't be practicing with the offense and that would not turn out well.
September 21st, 2019 at 7:46 PM ^
Possible, yes. Probable, hell no. This team is going to lose several more games this year. Every game is now a toss up. They will drop out of the Top 25 this week. Never to return.
September 21st, 2019 at 6:35 PM ^
He threw an absolute dart today...to Wisconsin
September 21st, 2019 at 6:52 PM ^
The 4th down INT I can overlook, because it's 4th down. The 3rd down decision to throw it into the line which almost got picked off was the play that showed he's not ready.
September 21st, 2019 at 9:23 PM ^
Cant believe that dood caught it as hard as it hit him in the chest.
September 21st, 2019 at 6:36 PM ^
I can see taking a bong rip to ease the pain of today, but..... I'd advise against smoking crack.
September 21st, 2019 at 6:36 PM ^
Good god No!!
September 21st, 2019 at 6:38 PM ^
Milton is not the future. He is a cannon, not a quarterback. See, e.g., Shane Morris.
September 21st, 2019 at 8:56 PM ^
A cannon could be what we need with our receivers. Just have Nico run to the end zone and let Milton launch it. 33% interception, 33% TD, 33% pass interference.
September 21st, 2019 at 6:39 PM ^
ever notice UM football has sucked after you guys brought MJ into your state in such large quantities?
September 21st, 2019 at 6:41 PM ^
You may be on to something.
Colorado used to be good. Then they legalized. Now, not so much.
California used to have good teams. Then legalized. Now, not so much.
September 21st, 2019 at 8:53 PM ^
Washington has been quite good since 2012, so not a perfect theory!
September 21st, 2019 at 6:48 PM ^
False. Michigan sucked before 2008.
September 21st, 2019 at 6:45 PM ^
He's not exactly the future.....
September 21st, 2019 at 6:47 PM ^
Depending on Shea's shoulder, we may not have a choice
September 21st, 2019 at 6:49 PM ^
No, pass. Peters 3.0.
September 21st, 2019 at 6:52 PM ^
How does this post only have 6 downvotes?
September 21st, 2019 at 6:55 PM ^
Shea will be the qb; probably for a couple weeks. I’d imagine D-Caff is out at least 2 weeks after that shot.
September 21st, 2019 at 6:58 PM ^
We could have Brady at the helm and the play calling and coaches would fuck him up. It’s not the players.
September 21st, 2019 at 7:05 PM ^
It's Rutgers next, right? Be the perfect opponent to get Milton some work
September 21st, 2019 at 7:08 PM ^
Why not? He's probably not coached either so what could go wrong.
September 21st, 2019 at 7:21 PM ^
And ruin that guy too? not ready for that.
September 21st, 2019 at 7:24 PM ^
MIlton is not ready. He is talented and has a lot of potential. But he is a walking interception ready to happen.
September 21st, 2019 at 7:34 PM ^
That tackle he made tho.
I firmly believe the next pick Milton throws will result in a stripped fumble in which Milton takes to the house.
September 21st, 2019 at 8:52 PM ^
That was Christian Turner on the tackle. It was a good tackle, though.
September 21st, 2019 at 7:41 PM ^
Let’s just hope Patterson and McCaffrey heal so they can play.
September 21st, 2019 at 7:59 PM ^
Milton was absolutely lost
September 21st, 2019 at 8:10 PM ^
Who wasn’t?
