Kemp looked pretty good at DT. Stood up a couple double teams, pushed the pocket a little too.
2nd OL moved some guys (could have been back ups for WMU) and Hudson was doing some good work.
Also saw them go with Paye and Gary at DE with Winovich at 3T on a pass rush. Good to see the staff acknowledging who can pass rush regardless of position.

I thought I heard Kemp's name called a couple times yesterday and he appeared to hold his ground. Saw Mone get blown off the ball a couple times, but he was constantly getting double-teamed and that opened up room for other guys to make plays.
Looked like both Winovich and Gary took a few snaps inside yesterday. Did Brown/Mattison do that much last year too?
Good to see Paye get some run too. Fun game.

Gary/Winovich never went inside except to line up to set up stunts. Otherwise it was Hurst all day inside because he could pass rush.
Putting in Paye on the outside and Gary or Winovich on the inside makes for a good pass rush. Much better than Winovich and Gary plus... a DT who has shown up?

Is still around. Posted a lot here yesterday (really enjoyed watching Scott Frost lose) and over the summer.
I'm not really flashy so it's easy to miss me. But I'm in most of the group photos.

I was at the game. The only time the crowd booed was when we went 4 plays and punted on our first offensive drive and in the second half after Harbaugh called timeout and the ref said over his mic, "Timeout...Michigan State."
We booed so loud that he took notice and corrected himself.
