Michigan vs. Laval??

I like to consider myself one of the biggest MIchigan fans in Canadia. While I read this blog as much as possible, I feel it is my time to give back to the American Football loving community. I go to the University of Western Ontario, about an hour north from Ann Arbor in London and make the trek down once or twice a year for a game. I was fortunate to go to the Wisco game, where I decided I would not attend another one and just try and remember the year in regards to that 4th quarter. This weekend is about to change the year. We will beat Ohio State, heres how I know: My school team, the Western Mustangs, made it to the Canadian Intercollegiate Association championship game called the Vanier Cup. This is equivalent to the BCS National Championship game, except we have a great playoff system, and NOBODY CARES ABOUT CANADIAN FOOTBALL. My biggest regret in life is not going to an American school with a great sports program (not bad for the biggest regret huh). So why do i even bother? The Western Mustangs are playing the powerhouse Laval Rouge et Or from Quebec. Western, is about 20 point dogs to the French. Sound familiar? A rival from a part of the country that nobody in the rest of the country likes, playing an undermatched team that nobody is giving a chance. Go ahead call me a stupid Canadian, but Im taking the dogs. Straight f-in up. +1000000. Make a lot of money on the 2 greatest miracles in our schools history happening on the same day at the same time. And hey, if the Rouge et Or march down the field and out-rouge our beloved 'stangs, and if bucknuts manages to somehow beat michigan, just blame canada.

Yeah, I think it is aboot time Michigan beats Ohio State, eh? Not coming back after the fourth quarter of the Wisconsin game was a good choice, in retrospect. My best to your team in their Championship.

Hey canadianblue I think we'd have a competition as to who is the bigger Canadian Michigan fan. I actually went to high school with Nathan Riva and played with him on the varsity team. I came to Michigan for college and couldn't be happier. Love your optimism, and good luck beating Laval!

I'll be @ Jack Astor's for the noon kickoff UM/OSU, then cross Front St for the 3:15 train to Montreal for Grey Cup weekend (company thing). I'll give the Laval boys some shite for ya if the 'Stangs pull the upset. GO BLUE!

Sir, I would like to borrow your rocket car. I once dated a girl in London... it was at least two hours. Not as bad as when she moved to Waterloo, ugh.
