Michigan tickets for the Iowa game - what section?

Submitted by CWoodIsMyBoiii on August 8th, 2022 at 12:02 PM

Hello MGoFamily - some buddies and I are planning on driving to Iowa City for the game on Oct 1.  We have 8 tickets through the ticket office and are wondering if anyone has experience getting tickets for a game at Kinnick through the UofM ticket office and can share where those seats were located.  I know most tickets given to visiting teams are near the top row in a corner of the stadium and am expecting this to be the case for the Iowa game as well, but figured I'd tap into the board to get any first hand accounts.

Thank you in advance - much appreciated!

Seems that MANY of us are making the IOWA trip this year.

Section 105 Row 74 here.

I read that Harbaugh has NEVER beaten IOWA (in Kinnick) as a player or coach.

However I am 1-0 at Kinnick:

While a player, UM won at Iowa (1982 when JH redshirted). Lost 1984 when he was out for the season. Lost 12-10 game (#1 vs #2) in 1985. Those were at Kinnick.

Beat Iowa 1983 (he was a back-up) in the Big House and QBed team to win 1986 (both 83 and 86 games won by UM on last second FG).

Coaching - lost at Kinnick 2016. Wins at home 2019 and in Indy 2021.

FYI: I was at the last win in Kinnick in 2005, OT game. Hoke lost both games there (2011, 2013). RR lost in 2009. JH lost in 2016. So we have a four game losing streak to break.

You are definitely right, and the StubHub prices sure show it!  We are headed for our first @Iowa game and paid through the nose (section 102). Recently visited Iowa City for the first time, as my UM '21 son just moved there for an engineering job. Excited to see Iowa city on a game day, and see UM put up another 42 on Ferentz! By the way, does anyone have info on where tailgating (especially away team/UM) tends to happen there?

Several years ago, i used to get decent seats thru UM; ie. 20 yd line, row 20 ish. the last couple times i went, we got goal line seats near the field. and i was a longggg time season ticket holder.
