I wish I could be reprogrammed to like swimming as much as football & basketball. Life would be easier.

Yikes, Bucks suck.

Being a hockey fan is awesome right now.

Always good to beat the Buckeyes.

Why did people think this was gonna be close? Ohio State is a joke compared to Michigan swimming.

If you think the Buckeyes are bad, you should see MSU swimming. MSU nonrevenue sports are a joke except for womens basketball and mens soccer.

Ohio state has had a very good swimming program, but Michigan's had just been so much better it has been hard to really see it... Not that any of us would really want to. UM however is such an established power that the term "we don't rebuild, we reload" is truly accurate. The good swimmers from around the country, and the really great swimmers from around Michigan, all get recruited to cone to Ann Arbor.

Ohio State has the second most NCAA team titles (behind Michigan), but none since 1962. OSU hadn't been a national power--or even a B1G title contender, for that matter--for awhile, but has become a much stronger program in the last 10 years or so.

why people would downvote a post informing the board about a win over Michigan's biggest rival? You people need to have your heads examined.

a downvote but no response or answer to my question. Classic.

I think WD is an auto-neg for some. I've never understood it. Maybe the boundless and slightly psychotic enthusiasm? Or his depantsing of Brandon? Maybe Brandon is negging him.

WD always gets auto-negged by some, and then asking about it will get you negged as well, I guess.
What I don't get is why anyone would neg or upvote someone based on passing along information that is pretty much the definition of objective and, I don't know, available at MGoBlue or the like. But again, I've been here long enough to see some weird, inexplicable stuff.

It's convenient. I always love to hear about us crushing osu, regardless of the sport, and since I rarely visit mgoblue unless I'm looking for something specific, I otherwise wouldn't have known about this. Honestly I get a lot of (non-M) news from here, since I'm rarely on cnn, msn or even espn unless, again, I went there looking for something specific. This is one of the few sites I visit just to see what's new...

It's those in the Circle of Misery that sits on these boards all day...deciding what is worthy of a thread and what isn't depending on their mood.
Downvoting a life skill... not surprised!

Don't they know that WD could start a rally and/or get them fired.

an up vote to me.

so I love swimming posts. You can actually post times and splits for me. (Totally kidding, do not do that) Also, my cousins' kid swims for the Buckeyes, so I enjoy this result immensely.
Go Blue!

Nice win. I wonder if they'll pull off another run in the NCAA's like they did a couple years ago.

Yaaaa! We OWN OSU in swimming and diving....hell yeah! Who needs football and basketball when you got bragging right to swimming!
